A new light has been installed over the tower door to illuminate the outside stairway. Kudos to Jim who made sure the light was included in the electrical renovations, and who pushed to get it done early in the project.
This light is installed in a new location, about a foot above the top of the tower door, rather than on the base and stalk with light sensor that is further up the wall.
The upper flight of steps and the two landings are now brightly lit. The lower flight is shaded by the upper section of the stairs and is much more dimly illuminated, so please continue to exercise caution.
Perhaps some ringer has a clipper on a long pole that we can use to trim back the branches that are blocking some light from the lower flight of steps?
