Twenty-third class for new ringer Eoin. He raised and lowered the 2 twice or thrice, the 4 twice, and the 6 once, and practiced setting, setting, setting. He set the 4 four times or so in sequence at hand, back, hand, back. His rope control is getting very, very good: he rarely needs to steady the sally when raising or lowering because the rope is flowing down then back up in a vertical stream.
Points to focus on: following through especially after the handstroke, and taking a coil with the left hand only while the right directs the rope downwards.
