Five ringers: Anne, Jody, Judy, Marguerite, Thomas. The air conditioning was not working. We raised 12345.
Potential new learner Patricia visited and pulled the 2 off twice.
- Rounds on Five.
- Plain Hunt on Four with tenor behind. The striking was not good, and the pattern fell apart within the first few strokes each time. It was difficult to tell what precisely was going wrong; all the working bells were late to the point that one or more bells were even after the tenor. We’ll work on it at practice this week.
- Call Changes. The band did well, with only a few confused crashes which we were able to spread back out fairly quickly. The calls took the band through Queens then Back Rounds and back home to Rounds.
- Rang down in grand cacophony.
